Russia launched a barrage of missiles at Ukrainian energy facilities in the early hours of Thursday, according to the country’s energy minister, with Kharkiv, Odesa and eight other regions targeted. The attack comes as temperatures dropped to freezing and a UN official warned that this winter could be the “harshest since the start of the war” if Moscow continues to destroy Ukrainian infrastructure.
