Entertaining your kids is a full-time — and very expensive — job.

But popular holiday park Butlin’s is offering a cheap solution, slashing the price of the kids’ day passes to just £1 this month.

The cost for a child’s day-pass (during term-time) is usually £11, but when accompanied by a full-paying adult (tickets start from £15), you can buy up to four cut-price tickets for just £1.

The deal gives you and your tots access to live shows, fairground rides, the water park and more at all three Butlin’s locations: Bognor Regis, Minehead and Skegness.

There are some conditions though. The offer is only valid from March 4 to March 27 and it only applies to visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays throughout the month.

Last admission to the park is 2pm, so it won’t be one for school-aged kids, but it could be a cheap way to keep nursery-aged toddlers busy.

Despite the stipulations, Butlin’s has plenty on offer. Included in your child’s £1 ticket are all the daytime shows like Peppa Pig’s Dance Party and the Tots Disco.

There’s also a dinosaur exhibition for any budding paleontologists or T-Rex fans.

You could also take a wild ride on the teacups or Helter Skelter if you’re feeling adventurous.

Waterparks are usually a hit too, and the day pass gives you access to Splash Waterworld, with rides, rapids, a lazy river and a shallow pool for little kids.

And reviews from satisfied families speak for themselves. One parent on Reddit wrote: ‘The pool and the beach is all we wanted and they are living up to expectations, in fact the pool is better than Center Parcs for our age kids (4yo and 18 month old).’

Another user said: ‘My brother took his kids, and there were non-stop things to do. Butlin’s seem to have dragged themselves into the 21st century, but without losing the good parts.

‘Food court is good value, activities are amazing for kids (some of the musical stuff etc is good for adults). Swimming is ace,’ said @shaed9681.

The entrance fee isn’t the only thing you can save your hard-earned cash on, either. For an additional £1 your child can enjoy a meal from the kid’s menu between 12pm and 3pm.

You’ll need to buy your own adult meal to get the discount lunch (and check that your restaurant of choice is part of the promotional deal).

The four night ‘bundle break’

If you’re looking for more than just a day excursion and fancy staying at the family resort, it’s now offering all-inclusive stays for less than £100 per night.

The four night ‘bundle break’ includes accommodation, unlimited food and drinks, as well as access to the perks listed above.

Again, this is available at all three Butlin’s locations but there is, as always, a catch.

The offer is only available during term time for families of four with children five and under. If you fit the bill, the deal comes in at £399, or £25 per person per night.
