Manchester United retain an interest in Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo, according to Spanish publication Sport.
The Uruguayan has only played once all season due to injury, and even since recovering several weeks ago, he has been on the fringes under Hansi Flick.
United are long-standing admirers of Araujo, who is valued at £46million by Barca.
And though the Red Devils are not expected to invest heavily in a centre-back this window, they could test the waters this summer.
That is unless Marcus Rashford’s proposed loan move to Barcelona opens up a window of opportunity.
