Lildl’s own version of the well-known Dubai Chocolate is now available to purchase on TikTok, with a total of 6,000 chocolate bars available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lidl shoppers are in for a treat, as a replica of the infamous Dubai chocolate is now available for purchase, and it’s way more affordable. The retailer has launched its own version of the delicious chocolate bar, which is currently the most cheapest option in the UK market.
Dubai Chocolate has taken social media by storm with its rich milk chocolate and pistachio filling. Lidl ’s new J.D. Gross Dubai-Style Chocolate, a 112g bar, will be priced at just £3.99. A total of 6,000 limited-edition chocolate bars will be available for purchase on a first-come, first-served basis through the TikTok Shop from 9 AM on March 20th.
This is the second time Lidl has turned to TikTok Shop to sell its latest products. The supermarket previously used the social media platform to launch its Protein Bundles, which sold out within just 18 minutes of their release.

“This momentous occasion marks Lidl’s second foray into TikTok Shop, as the announcement comes hot on the heels of the recent launch of its Protein Bundles, which sold out just 18 minutes after dropping on the platform. They concluded: “Now, as love for the coveted chocolate sensation only continues to grow, this latest drop is set to be even bigger.”
What is ‘Dubai Chocolate’?
The original Dubai Chocolate Bar was initially called “Can’t Get Knafeh Of It.” It was created by Fix Dessert Cocolatier, a Dubai-based brand, UAE. The bar is a combination of milk chocolate filled with pistachio cream and crispy kataifi (shredded phyllo pastry), which is said to be inspired by the Middle Eastern dessert knafeh, a traditional Arab sweet.
The bar quickly became a sensation on TikTok, with users sharing their love for the unique treat. The trend rapidly gained international attention and demand, with many fans trying to recreate the recipe at home.
Some chocolate replicas have appeared on store shelves, including offerings from well-known brands like Lindt and Laderach, where the chocolate bars are going for £14.99 and £31.50, respectively.
