JESY Nelson once claimed “motherhood is not for me” before revealing show pregnancy with twins.
The singer, 33, stunned fans over the weekend with the news she and on/off boyfriend Zion Foster are expecting.
It’s a dramatic U-turn for the former Little Mix singer, who just a few years ago insisted she didn’t want kids.
Speaking to Glamour UK at the time, Jesy said: “No I don’t want children.
“It’s just not in me. I think as a woman, [motherhood is] either in you or it isn’t.
“You either have that maternal feeling or you don’t, and I’ve never had that feeling.”
Yesterday Jesy took to Instagram to share a snap of her and Zion posed together, showing off her growing baby bump.
Jesy added: “She’s eating for 3 now.”
Following the shock announcement, Jesy was congratulated publicly by her Love Island star ex-boyfriend Chris Hughes.
Jesy and Chris, 32, split in April 2020 after 16 months together.
Commenting on her post, Chris wrote: “Go on girl.”
Fans quickly praised Chris for the support despite their relationship not working out.
One said: “Supportive exes… we love to se it.” And another wrote: “You’re a great ex.”
Jesy’s former Little Mix bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock gave birth to twins in August 2021.
And Perrie Edwards welcomed son Axel the same month that year.
