Alison Hammond and her masseur boyfriend David Putman have been spotted looking super smitten on a romantic London outing.
The This Morning presenter, 49, and Russia-born David, 27, struck up a romance from friendship after she became a client of his in 2023.
Now they look to be going as strong as ever, as the pair were spotted passionately kissing and hugging each other while out and about in the capital.
David wore a leather jacket, grey and black scarf and beige chinos, while Alison snuggled up in a green winter coat and pink beret hat on top of some rose-tinted sunglasses.
Their faces were lit up with smiles on the outing, so they seem to have weathered the storm of criticism over their 22-year age gap.
Alison spoke out about their age difference last year, explaining that they fit like a ‘jigsaw’.
‘I can see how, on paper, you’d notice the age difference. But honestly, when we see the word “toyboy” written about us, it bears no relation to what we have at all,’ she said.
‘Yes, I’m 22 years older than he is, but if you saw us together, you’d understand.
‘People have said to me: “We get it now”.’ He’s so mature and sensible, and I’m so not. And the things he says to me…they’re just so lovely. It’s like a jigsaw; we fit, and it all comes together,’ she added when speaking to Good Housekeeping.
The pair confirmed their relationship last year, with Alison also sharing that her son Aiden, 19, approved and thought David was ‘lovely’.
It appears that up until 2022 David was based in Russia, with The Sun reporting that he left in December of that year following President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
When asked about the report, he replied: ‘I will speak later, when I will be ready.’
The publication claimed David was living with his uncle Nigel Putman in Slough, having spent his childhood between England and Russia.
‘When the war in Ukraine began David’s mother Olga began to worry,’ a friend of the family claimed.
‘She didn’t want her boys dragged into it. She wanted them safe like any mother would.’
He is said to be a ‘very quiet, unassuming and thoughtful person’ who plays the guitar.
David is ‘not bothered by fame,’ and is unconcerned about their age gap, added the source.
‘He’s the strong, silent type, not a pushover, but not chatty like Alison,’ they shared.
‘In that sense, they’re perfect for each other.’
Alison split from her boyfriend, gardener Ben Hawkins, in 2023. While they dated for two years, the pair were only pictured together once.
Alison shares her son Aiden with her ex Noureddine Boufaied. After their split, she later admitted to feeling like a ‘failure’ for breaking up with her son’s dad.
She explained: I felt that failure when I split up with my son’s dad. His dad moved on, he’s married, he’s got three other children, they’re part of our family as well. You don’t know how it’s going to work out, it’s part of your story.’
