Aldi slashes price of popular Baileys dupe to under £5 – at half the price of original

BAILEYS fans are rushing to Aldi after the supermarket slashes prices on favourite dupe.

Specially Selected Luxury Edition Irish Cream Liqueur is now half the price of the original tipple.

The bottle is 70cl and is now £4.99, rather than the previous cost of £7.99.

The booze is inspired by Baileys, which is around £10.00 for a bottle.

The news created excitement on Facebook, with one fan writing: “This is lovely in a coffee, absolutely delicious.”

“Went to Tunbridge Wells store and it was an empty shelf both times,” another wrote, pointing out the popularity of the product.”

“Love this I get this every year,” another wrote.

One shopper wrote: “Bring back the gingerbread Ballycastle one please. It’s my Christmas spirit, you dont want me to be all bah humbug, do you?”

Sparking hope, Aldi replied: “We’ll see what we can do.”
