A WOMAN who has lost a whopping 11 stone thanks to her Ozempic jab has hit back at nasty trolls.
Amy used the weight loss job and is thrilled with the results – but it seems nasty trolls online don’t feel the same way.
She decided to address the comment instead of ignoring it in a new video she posted to social media, and she wasn’t going to let the rudeness slide.
Amy responded to a comment which read: “Why does everyone on Ozempic always end up looking like a skin sack?
“No muscle definition just skin lmao.”
Amy stood up to show off her grey sweater and brown tracksuit bottoms before pulling her top up.

Showing off her stomach and it’s loose skin proudly, she said: “That’s right. There she is in all her glory.
“All that excess skin. Can you believe Ozempic did this?
“I really can, because Ozempic helped me lose 160 pounds.”
Amy went on to educate the meanie – explaining that losing lots of weight often results in loose skin and had nothing to do with the drug itself.
And while trolls may not like the look of it Amy was thrilled with the progress she has made .
She continued: “But, you know, I’ll take this all day because my health has gotten a whole lot better.”
The clip has since gone viral on her TikTok account @amyinhalfwith over 2.2 million views and 36k likes.
Plenty of people took to the comments section praising Amy for her weight loss.
One person wrote: “Any weight loss will do that!!! People aren’t very smart sometimes.”
Another commented: “I lost a lot of weight naturally and have loose skin too. Nothing to do with Ozempic.”
Ozempic – an expert’s view
Dr Mitra Dutt, a GP from Lloyds Pharmacy Online Doctor, says: “Mounjaro works by activating two hormonal receptors (GIP and GLP-1), which enhance insulin production, improve insulin sensitivity and work to decrease food intake.”
Saxenda, which contains the active ingredient liraglutide, is another weight loss jab that’s been available on the NHS since 2020.
While Mounjaro is hailed as the “King Kong” fat jabs, a new weight loss drug dubbed “Godzilla” looks set to displace it.
Containing the active ingredient retatrutide, slimmers trying the drug lost up to 29 per cent of their weight in less than a year.
By comparison, trial results showed semaglutide, known as Ozempic, could lead to 15 per cent weight loss and tirzepatide, aka Mounjaro, to 23 per cent.
Retatrutide acts on three different receptors in the brain, “turbocharging” calorie burning while dulling hunger pangs.
Existing weight-loss jabs only suppress appetite, whereas the new treatment also speeds up metabolism.
The new drug is still undergoing clinical trials so it’s not yet known if it will be made available on the NHS.
“Weight loss did that, I have the same excess skin and I just simply lost weight – no Ozempic involved,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “I agree my health is so much better.”
“You look fantastic,” claimed a fifth.
Someone else added: “Say it again for the people in the back!”
